Enztec and Omni Life Science form Orthopaedic Synergy
A joint initiative of New Zealand-based Enztec Limited and USA-headquartered Omni Life Science, Orthopaedic Synergy, will be the first New Zealand majority owned full service orthopaedic company in the demanding Australasian market.
“Both Enztec and Omni have track records as successful innovators in their respective orthopaedic fields,” says David Boyd, Chairman, Enztec.
“The formation of Orthopaedic Synergy will enable both companies to gain more direct access to the market and therefore capture more value from it.”
Orthopaedic Synergy will offer New Zealand and Australian surgeons an industry-leading portfolio of products from Enztec, Omni, Global Orthopaedic and selected third party vendors.
“We envisage Orthopaedic Synergy for NZ will be based on a ‘Centre of Orthopaedic Excellence’ in Christchurch, building on the proven design and manufacturing capability of Enztec”

David Boyd said as the organisation continues to grow Enztec and Omni may evaluate a public listing for Orthopaedic Synergy.
